I have always loved books. I love looking at books—quietly holding one in my hands, feeling the weight, slowly turning the pages, noticing the feel of the paper and the white spaces—before I begin to read the words. I collaborate with clients who offer breathtaking images. My style is simple, clean, elegant.
From early days drafting for Amerikan Knidos Hafriyati, learning layout/production at National Geographic Society, and honing publication design at Blair & Ketchum’s Country Journal, I have been inspired by authenticity, balance, and a subject’s unique resonance. As Principal + Creative Director of Hudson Hills Press [2002-07], I have supervised the design, production, and delivery of scores of museum-quality books. Today, I continue to enjoy delivering books that are enduring and beautiful.
